Con-Tiki Coir Mattress

I'm so happy I found Natural Mattress. I like a FIRM mattress - I was thisclose to just sleeping on the floor, and this mattress does not disappoint. My old pillow top was giving me terrible hip, back, and shoulder pain, to the point I was regularly losing feeling in my extremities at night, and dreaming about how much I hated my mattress. But after one night on this mattress, I bounced out of bed with no pain, with none of the usual joint pops and cracks, and felt fully rested. I've had the mattress a little over a month, have consistently been getting a much deeper sleep, and am finding I'm not waking up constantly, which was typical with my old mattress. I tend to rotate a bit at night, and find this mattress is equally comfortable on my stomach, back, and sides.

The service at Natural Mattress was fantastic - Mark was great in explaining how the mattress would be constructed, and took time with me to help ensure I was getting what I needed and wanted. He also gave me consistent updates as the mattress was being constructed, and like the other reviewer mentioned, he and Andrew hand delivered my new mattress, and took away my old one, which was all included. It's very breathable - I usually get pretty hot at night, but haven't had any issues overheating. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more comfortable I'll be in the summer months.

If you like a firm mattress, this one is not messing around, and I definitely recommend it. Plus I love that it's handmade locally.

We've had this mattress for close to 3 months now, we love it like it's the first day.
We like HARD mattresses and we had been looking for one for years with no success, so happy we came across Natural Mattress and that hey thought about using coconut fiber like this.
They delivered the mattress all the way to my bedroom, took away my old one and left me starfishing on my new bed. We went with the firmest latex core, plus the coconut fibers, mattress if FIRM but has a bit of wiggle and bounce when you lay down or move around. We also purchased a wool topper that takes the edge off that firmness a bit without adding too much fluff. Yes, there is a slight wool/sheep odor but only if you sink your face in it and I personally love that smell, reminds of childhood memories. It's easier to count sheep to go to sleep when you are surrounded by that wooly smell. The mattress BREATHES, I never knew what that felt like until I tried this. No damp sweaty pj's even for my husband who tends to get very hot at night and kick the covers away.
We also got 2 wool filled pillows that seemed to be huge at first but the wool settled in now significantly, I would say there is only 30-40% of the initial volume. I wish the pillows came with zippers so one could add wool if pillow sets too much.
Overall 110% satisfied, everyone that visits our house now gets to try our new bed and we can't stop raving about it. Even if a hard mattress is not your thing, these guys will have something for you.
