Canadian Wool Futon

This wool stuffed futon is our rendition of the original natural fibre mattress. We use Albertan raised and milled sheep’s wool stuffed into our custom knit organic cotton and hemp fabric, and secure the layers using durable tufts instead of harmful glues or polyester bonding agents. The result is a firm sleeping surface with incredible breathability, antimicrobial and moisture wicking properties, and zero off-gassing.

Natural fibres will pack down over the years, but this does not mean the wool is at the end of its lifespan. We are proud to offer re-milling and re-stuffing on your futon once the wool has packed down. This costs roughly 50% of the initial cost of the futon, and saves your futon from going to the recycler or landfill.
